On December 13th, 2024, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency sent a letter warning of your company’s possible non-compliance regarding the producer responsibility for electronics, batteries, packaging, and/or single-use plastics in Denmark.
If your company received such a letter you are obligated by law to investigate whether your company is covered by one or more of the Danish producer responsibility schemes.
Failing to comply may result in reporting to the police and an array of possible sanctions, from fines to confiscation of estimated economic benefits to purchase/sell bans.
By joining one or more of Retur’s dedicated PROs – Elretur, Batteriretur, and/or Emballageretur – we make sure, that your company complies with Danish law.
