Webinar: The economic framework for producer responsibility for textiles

Many people are keen to know what the costs of the upcoming producer responsibility will be. We don't yet know the specific figures, and it will be some time before they are finalised.

What we do know are the economic frameworks governing producer responsibility and our producer responsibility organisation Tekstilretur, which will also be non-profit.

In this webinar, we will give you an overview of:

• What producers with textile producer responsibility pay for
• Who they pay
• What preliminary analyses are currently available in this area
• How Tekstilretur will handle pricing and finances in a transparent way through member democracy

The webinar is aimed particularly at employees who have internal responsibility for explaining the rationale behind budget changes to management and boards. The additional cost of producer responsibility will need to be incorporated into budgets from 2028 onwards.
