With a Retur membership, you bring your Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations together in one place and get one point of contact for the schemes relevant to your company - whether that is packaging, electronics, batteries, textiles or fishing gear.
EPR requires companies to stay on top of registration, data, reporting and documentation. Retur helps you translate these requirements into a workflow that holds - and handles the tasks within the collective scheme that you do not need to manage yourself. You retain the legal responsibility and provide the necessary information. We make sure it is used correctly, and that you always know what is required of you and when.
Here you register as a member and report your quantities on an ongoing basis — the figures that form the basis for further reporting to the authorities. We guide you on what needs to be included and when.
You get access to specialists, webinars, guides and updates, so you can work more confidently with rules, deadlines, data and documentation.
Retur handles the collective waste obligations on behalf of its members and documents the management we carry out.
Retur covers five Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs): Elretur for electronics, Batteriretur, Emballageretur, Fiskeriretur and Tekstilretur. You sign up for the schemes that match your products and obligations. If you are unsure, we can help with an initial assessment.
Registration is completed digitally using your company’s CVR number and MitID Erhverv. Go to Returportalen and register your membership.
All companies with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) must register themselves with Danish Producer Responsibility (DPA). We guide you through the process and show you how to select the relevant scheme in the register.
Once your membership has been created, we will go through which information you need to have ready and how ongoing reporting works.

Many companies are covered by more than one area of EPR.
At Retur, you can bring several EPR obligations together under one membership. This gives you one point of contact for the schemes, less duplication of work and a more coherent way to handle data and deadlines.

Retur is a non-profit organisation owned by its members. That means we do not work to generate returns for anyone outside the organisation - we work to ensure the schemes function as well as possible for the companies that are part of them.
As a member, you gain influence through the sector structure. Member companies meet, discuss the development of the schemes and help set the environmental fees. It is a different model from purchasing a service from a commercial provider. At Retur, you are not just a customer - you are part of the shared solution.
