If your company has Extended Producer Responsibility for electrical and electronic equipment, you must report information once a year about the equipment you have placed on the market. Here, you get an overview of what must be reported, how quantities are calculated, and how Elretur helps you through the process.
Reporting electronics is both about meeting authority requirements and about correctly allocating the costs of collection and treatment. Data must therefore be calculated in a way that can be documented.
As a member, you report quantities placed on the market to Elretur in Returportalen according to the frequency and deadlines that apply to your membership. Elretur uses the data for invoicing environmental fees and for the further reporting to Danish Producer Responsibility.
You must state whether the equipment becomes waste with households or businesses. If the product is sold to citizens, it is reported as household; if it is sold to businesses, it is reported as business.
Elretur reports collected and treated quantities on behalf of its members based on the waste management organised by Elretur.

Electronics covers a wide range of products, and reporting across the seven equipment categories can be complex.
Vi hjælper jer med at koble produkter, mængder og kategorier, så jeres data systematiseres. Med Returportalen får I et stærkt datagrundlag, der sikrer at I har den lovpligtige dokumentation – præcis når I skal bruge den.
Your company is responsible for providing correct data and documentation. Elretur reports to Danish Producer Responsibility on your behalf and handles the collective waste management that we organise for members.
Danish Producer Responsibility administers the register, receives reports, supervises compliance and can issue formal decisions.
