Tekstilretur

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for textiles and footwear is being introduced across the EU. For many companies, this means new requirements for registration, reporting, environmental fees and textile waste management. Tekstilretur helps you prepare in time - also if you sell in several countries.

How Tekstilretur helps you

Preparation and overview

We help you understand what the upcoming EPR requirements mean for your company and where it makes most sense to begin your preparations.

Data and categorisation

We help you identify which products are covered and how to categorise them, so you are ready with the right data when the scheme takes effect.

Ongoing updates on the rules

We follow developments closely and keep you updated on the timeline, requirements and practical implications for companies as the Danish scheme falls into place.

More than 20 years of experience behind us

Tekstilretur builds on the Retur family's experience with EPR for packaging, electronics, batteries and fishing gear. This gives you an experienced partner already in the preparation phase.

International overview from the start

If you sell textiles in several countries, EPR quickly becomes more complex. Through our Nordic and European partnerships, Tekstilretur gives you one point of contact for overview, guidance and coordination across markets.

Knowledge, guidance and strong partnerships

Tekstilretur keeps you updated and helps you get started through webinars, guides, articles, tools and guidance. We also work closely with industry stakeholders, including Dansk Mode & Textil.

Pre-registration makes it easier to get started

By pre-registering with Tekstilretur, you get a simple route to knowledge, updates and guidance while the rules are still being finalised. This makes it easier to begin preparing now - without waiting for the final Danish rules.

Pre-registration is free until implementation. If you are already a member of another PRO in the Retur family, the membership fee for Tekstilretur is included at no extra cost.

Is your company among those that will be affected?

The scheme will cover more than clothing. Producers, importers, brands, private-label companies and companies selling online to customers in Denmark should already consider whether textiles, footwear or related products in their product range will be covered.

This also applies to companies with workwear, home textiles and certain leather and imitation leather products. EPR requirements may also be introduced for mattresses.
